TXM Recruit are excited to announce an exciting opportunity for either contract, freelance or PAYE candidates at both levels to join a dynamic, forward-thinking, and fast-growing business. You will be a key part of the team delivering major, high profile infrastructure projects across the UK.

In terms of the role of Quantity Surveyor, the ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and ambitious self-starter, able to wholly embrace our clients dynamic future vision and strategic plan.

You will have needed to demonstrable experience of major infrastructure construction projects across one or more of our clients key target sectors. With a mandatory background in Building Services and Comms, working within a tier 2 business and possessing a good understanding of design and technology, the ideal candidate will be a strong and confident leader, able to manage, mentor and inspire colleagues, team members and reporters.
 
Qualifications and Experience needed

• Ideally university degree approved by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
• Relevant subjects include construction, civil engineering, maths and building studies.
• Strong understanding of NEC 3 & 4 as well as other common contract forms is required.
• Other necessary competencies and experience the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate include:
• Managing contract accounts - pre and post contract
• Claims experience acceleration, extension of time, disruption
• Monthly commercial cost and profit reporting
• Application for payments
• Monthly cost forecasting
• Management of sub-contractor accounts
• Final account preparation and negotiation
