AC & DC Design Manager – London – Excellent Salary and package or Contract (negotiable)
Our client is a specialist in providing electrification solutions to the UK Railways system and through expansion of their busy Rail department require a Design Manager to manage the AC and DC design team.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity the ideal candidate is expected to be chartered with professional qualifications in an electrical engineering discipline (Minimum HNC or equivalent) as well as being a member of a professional institute.
We are looking for a candidate who is highly experienced in interpreting Customers Technical Work scopes to develop AC Classic and Auto-transformer schemes and DC traction supplies.
You will be expected to have a working knowledge of UK railway traction power standards and approvals, particularly those required on Network Rail or London Underground assets and also would need to demonstrate experience in providing technical inputs to tender PQQ’s and ITT’s.
