We are recruiting for an Operations Manager, with rail electrification experience.
Operations Manager....
As an Operations Manager you be responsible for successfully managing and delivering the Electrification elements of Plain Line, Conductor Rail and S&C project.
Requirements..
Assist the Project Manager in all stages of the project process including advanced planning with relevant internal or external parties (Planning, Delivery & Commercial)
Work within the Project Manager to develop project estimates including, Methodologies & Resource loaded programmes and risk analysis
Assist in the production and submission of project deliverables including methodologies, resource
requirements, relevant legislative documentation and project programmes
Schedule requirements/activities optimising resources and timescales; procure resources, submit documentation and obtain authorities
Produce and/or review project specific documentation, including Construction Phase Plans (CPP), Work Package Plans (WPPS), and Risk Evaluation including QRSA Process
Understand and work within established costs estimates, identify contract variations and assist the Project Manager in delivering projects within budget
Be accountable, through the Site Manager(s), for the planning, and conduct of all staff delivery teams on-site
Be accountable through the Site Manager(s) for the effective completion of reporting requirements to enable compliant Track-back
Inform the Project Manager of all critical issues; provide professional/technical input at all stages
Important experience:
Familiar with contract conditions
Understanding of BBRIS renewals planning process (Including RMS and Business Management Systems and Procedures).
Awareness of customer standards
Awareness of Health, Safety & Environmental requirements
Awareness of procurement process
Understanding of Installation, Design and Testing requirements and processes.
Knowledge of quantified risk assessment
This is a permanent position based in London.
