Due to the continued success in the securing of new long term projects a leading engineering brand seeks to employ a systems engineering professional in the role of Lead Systems Engineer .
In this highly rewarding position, based in their Head Office in Hertfordshire, will see the Lead Systems Engineer play a pivotal role in the development of products focusing on both hardware and software integration.

Role and Responsibilities
In the role of Lead Systems Engineer you will be tasked with directing Systems Engineers on allocated product development projects . You will act as the technical lead on certain projects as well ensuring that all safety engineering principals are met on all projects . You will ensure that all optimum systems solutions are delivered on all projects as well as ensuring that all systems standards, client standards and company procedures are met. You will work closely and liaise with other engineering groups on any EMC capability issues and also provide input into all development projects. You will also be tasked with the validation of all technical documentation in order to verify product compliance with the design specification and contract requirements.
Requirements
In order to be considered for the position of Lead Systems Engineer , all candidates will need to demonstrate and possess the following:
*Experienced in systems engineering (both hardware and software)
*Hold a BSc Electrical Engineering , Control Systems, Systems Engineering or equivalent
*Experienced of working in the IT, Rail, Defence or any other safety critical environment
In return you will be offered a starting salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience accompanied with 25 days annual leave with option of additional days, pension and other flexible benefits.
