Senior Quantity Surveyor
Type: Ongoing Contract

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their civils and tunnelling division working on a long term contract in central London.
Working on one of the most prestige’s rail projects in London the Senior Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:
•Preparing Valuations/Applications for Payment on a monthly basis with full supporting documentation in an efficient and timely manner and in accordance with the contract
•Preparing internal Cost/Value Reports on a monthly basis to satisfy the requirements of the Commercial Manager and any other reports which may be required. Preparing and managing the subcontract and material Procurement Schedules.
•Preparing Cost Reports to the Client on a monthly basis with full supporting documentation.
•Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.
Identification and substantiation of Compensation Events/variations, extension of time claims, etc.
•Assist in the identification of commercial risks and opportunities and carry out value engineering exercises as required.
•Encouraging and developing a culture of contractual awareness within the Junior Commercial site team and ensure that the full contractual entitlement is achieved by maintaining records, contractual notifications, change control, etc.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with proven experience within a similar role. The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level or equivalent.
