Top communications chief at Eurostar, Simon Montague, is quitting Britain for a new life in Spain.
Montague, former BBC transport correspondent, is moving to Madrid with his wife, Lisa, who has a new job there as CEO of Loewe. Mary Walsh becomes the new PR chief at the record breaking cross-channel carrier in October. Walsh was previously director of corporate relations at Lloyds.
Simon Montague has spent three and a half years at Eurostar, overseeing the transition from Waterloo to St Pancras. Ever the linguist Montague is learning Spanish.
Mary Walsh left Lloyds after a ten year stint last year following its merger with HBOS. Walsh has worked for Barclays, Polhill Consultants and is currently with Prudential.
