We are looking for a talented Project Manager to join our expanding Rail Division. You will be working on a varied portfolio of Rail Infrastructure projects for Network Rail on sites across the Southeast & Wessex areas.

Reporting to a Senior Contracts Manager your duties will include:

• Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
• Site Supervision
• Delivery of works to program & budget
• Producing Health & Safety plans & Work Package Plans
• Writing Risk Assessments
• Temporary Works
• Pre-start site inspections
• Planning (including road closures and possessions)
• Tool box talks & HSEQ briefings
• Providing plant & materials
• Client liaison

It is essential that you have a demonstrable experience in the timely delivery of Civil engineering works on Rail projects

• You will be from an Engineering background, with a minimum of an HNC in Civil Engineering
• hold current SMSTS, CSCS and PTS
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to get the most out of the people working for you
• a proven ability to manage Network Rail contracts from tender through to completion
• Commitment to the highest practicable standards of health and safety and environmental protection
• Ability to assess risks including those associated with the railway
• Experience of managing small delivery team and working with others departments to achieve management duties
• COSS or IWA Training as appropriate
