Job Description
My client is currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join our successful Structures Team. As our Building Surveyor you will provide surveying, assessment, inspections, calculation and design services to major civil structural projects for our Westminster and The City of London contracts. This is a permanent, full time position based in Central London.
The duties of the Building Surveyor role will include:
-Working on the contractual maintenance regimens involving local authorities and private and public sectors
-Undertaking building surveying and structural inspections of highway and building structures and producing details reports of existing conditions and full dimensions including site sketches and drawings on AutoCAD
-Providing remedial recommendations from inspection and survey reporting with detailed repairs solutions and any monitoring regimes
-Regular liaison with key stakeholders and clients
What skills and experience do you need?
We are looking for a experience Building Surveyor with strong knowledge of properties and structures and a in depth understanding of structural defects, remedial works, details reports and drawings. You will have worked within the public and private sectors and understand compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation. You will ideally hold a MRIC Chartership. This role with involve travel to other client locations therefore, you must hold a full UK driving license.
